The children of Templeton School competed in the Oakwood cross country competition recently.
The school has taken part in this event every year since it began.
All 23 children who took part thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and three children from Templeton School finished in the top 10, which was a great achievement.
Mr. Perkins, headteacher at Templeton School, said: "We would like to thank the organisers again for holding this event and commend all the children for competing so enthusiastically."
Operation
Christmas Child
The children and parents of Templeton School have been busy putting together boxes for the Samaritan's Purse 'Operation Christmas Child' appeal.
This appeal provides shoe boxes full of toys and items that we take for granted (such as toothbrushes) for children in need all over the world, victims of war, poverty, famine, disease and natural disaster.
Rev. Needs and his wife have co-ordinated this appeal for the school.
A total of 35 shoeboxes have been donated and should go to making a large number of children very happy this Christmas.
