Tenby town council are on the look out for another new member after a resignation this week, after Mrs. Sarah Williams who was co-opted onto the council back in 2016, informed the town clerk that she would be standing down from the role.

Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting, Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane said it was a ‘great shame’.

“She was a good councillor, and I’m sorry that she’s left,” she told her colleagues.

The town clerk said he would notify Pembrokeshire County Council, and begin the statutory process to declare a vacancy.
