Narberth RNLI branch will hold their Annual Fun Quiz and Cawl Evening at Narberth Rugby Club this (Friday) evening at 7 pm.

Popular Pembrokeshire sports writer and broadcaster Bill Carne will act as quiz master for the evening, with the emphasis on enjoyment.

Teams of two to six may enter and a delicious bowl of cawl with bread rolls and cheese will be served during the interval.

Tickets are priced £10 each and further information can be obtained from chair Julie Mathias on (01834) 860150, or other committee members.

The next lotto draw will be held Monday, January 29, with a prize fund fund of at least £1,722, at The Dragon Inn, Narberth. Envelopes can be purchased from Alpha Inn, Dragon Inn, Farmers Arms, Narberth RFC, Ivy Bush, Landsker Stores, RAOB, and Lillies Coffee Shop.

Bonus Ball

Narberth AFC bonus ball this week was number 47 and the winners were: Group A - Grace Hart; Group B - Paul Phillips.

Narberth AFC Super Lotto draw was made during the bingo session on Monday evening at the rugby club and numbers drawn were 1, 7, 18. There was one winner, Mairwen Harries from Crymych, who won £232.

The next draw will take place on Monday, February 5.

Meat Draw

Winners of the Narberth RFC meat draw this week were Mike Headlam, Tony Trimble ad Mike Richards.

The Rugby Club raises money each week through the meat draw. Supporters interested in having a £1 ticket with three chances to win a £10 meat voucher for the weekend, should contact the club stewardess, Sheena Conbeer, on (01834) 860462, or any member of the club committee.

The draw takes place every Friday or Saturday evening.

Six Nations Tickets

Members of Narberth Rugby Club who have ordered tickets for the Six Nations home games can collect them from the club.

Tickets for the England v Wales game are also now ready for collection. Those for the remainder of the away games are not yet available.

Grace - a family church

Our central gathering is every Sunday morning at the Narberth CP School. Coffee served from 10 am for a 10.30 am start.

You will be greeted, enjoy refreshments and, if you have children, the various children’s classes that we run for the 0s to 16s will be explained. You will then be shown into the main auditorium where you are free to choose any seat and relax. After the service, coffee and Welsh cakes will be served in the café area.

Sunday mornings are an important part of Grace, but not the whole story. There are a number of smaller midweek gatherings in different locations in the county where you can connect with others and meet some great people. Also Café Church every Wednesday evening where you can explore the Christian faith in an informal atmosphere, 7.30 pm Liberty Café.

Fridays we have Charged! Games and music for eight to 11-year-olds. Grace Court House 6 - 7pm. And at 7 pm, 12 to 17-year-olds can enjoy a couple of hours in Amplify, Grace Church’s youth group.

Grace is a member of the Evangelical Alliance, affiliated to Trussell Trust foodbanks, a registered charity and part of New Wine Cymru.

Bethesda Chapel

Sunday: 10.15 am men’s time of prayer, Sunday School, 10.30 am morning family service (Walking with Jesus), 5.40 pm: prayer for all before evening service, 6 pm evening service. After Sunday services, come and join us for refreshments in the schoolroom downstairs.
