County planners look likely to give the go-ahead for a major residential development for Narberth, despite objections from the town council and local residents.
The application for 54 units, including an affordable provision, on land adjacent to Rushacre Farm, Redstone Road, will come before Pembrokeshire County Council's planning and rights of way committee on Tuesday.
A total of 55 letters of objection were received by the authority, with the overwhelming majority concerned over the access through Bloomfield Estate.
Fears were also expressed over specific impacts such as pressure on the infrastructure, impact on amenity of the occupiers of neighbouring properties through disruption and overlooking.
Planners are being recommended to approve the application subject to conditions and to a section 106 legal agreement.
The proposal has been submitted by Rushacre Developments.
