A Narberth based holiday park has been presented with a top regional tourism award by UK staycation specialist Hoseasons.

Celtic Escapes was crowned Best Small Relax & Explore destination in Wales at Hoseasons’ 14th annual Gala Awards evening - a celebration of the self-catering company’s lodge, holiday park and boatyard locations across the UK that have achieved the highest scores in independent customer satisfaction surveys.

Commenting after the awards were presented at the Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton, East Sussex, Huw Pendleton, managing director at Celtic Escapes, said: “This is amazing. We’re so happy to be recognised by holidaymakers and to have received an award based on the strength of customer satisfaction scores. Our team is always appreciative of the support from our guests. We work hard to provide a great holiday experience, whilst always looking to improve. Especially at a time when staycations are becoming more popular.”

Celtic Escapes is part of Hoseasons’ Bouja Boutique collection - 32 hand-picked idyllic locations offering stylish and affordable luxury breaks with a little wow factor.

Speaking after presenting the award, Simon Altham, chief portfolio officer at Awaze UK, Hoseasons’ parent company, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to award the team at Celtic Escapes. We all know the importance that positive reviews can have on bookings and it’s clear from the feedback they’ve been receiving that they’re doing a fantastic job of looking after our customers. They deserve all the plaudits that come their way and I wish them every success for many more years to come.”
