Narberth's first hat day!
Thanks to the people of Narberth - residents, businesses and visitors - the first Narberth Hat Day was a resounding success.
Thursday of Civic Week saw so many people wearing head apparel, and its wasn't even raining, that visitors to the town began to notice that something was going on. Some were even going to the charity shops and buying hats so that they could join the fun.
The prize for the best hat? Well there were so many its became impossible to chose a final winner. There were beautiful hats, big hats, little hats, colourful hats tall hats, small hats feather hats flower hats you name it and there has a hat to match. All were worn with pride.
The winner? Well all of the people who helped to make the day a success.
Next year, the organisers, the Chamber of Trade really will have prizes for the different categories of hats - promise.
