On Friday, February 24, Narberth and Whitland Inner Wheel joined with Saundersfoot Inner Wheel for a fish and chip supper at the Mermaid in Saundersfoot. There were other Inner Wheel clubs present and the proceeds of this fundraising evening went to Wales Air Ambulance.
The afternoon tea on Tuesday, February 28, for the pensioners club of Whitland, held at St. Davids Avenue, was very well attended and everyone enjoyed a selection of home-made cakes supplied by Inner Wheel.
St. David's Day was celebrated by Narberth Inner Wheel Club with a Cawl evening at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel, Narberth, on Monday, March 5. They all enjoyed traditional Welsh fare of cawl with bread and cheese, followed by a selection of desserts.
In April, several members will attend conference and at the meeting on Monday, April 16, Geraldine Leach will be the speaker for the evening with a talk on Tree Planting and Conservation.
