The 32nd annual general meeting was held on Thursday, October 25, at our usual venue namely Nant-y-ffin Hotel, Llandissilio, near Narberth (writes D. J.). To a late member arrival, he would have believed that our monthly meeting had already started, however, the discursive conversation between the members was in full swing and a happy atmosphere was clearly in evidence.
The president commenced the meeting with a warm salutation to all those present and we got off to a brisk start. At one-o-clock, we were called to an excellent lunch, followed by our designated annual general meeting and the gavel was brought to bear by our incumbent president Huw Lewis.
Apologies were received from absent members and approved by Huw, reasons were varied, i.e. illness and pressing personal commitments.
Huw then proceeded to install his successor Michael Garner with his jewel of office as president for the ensuing year who in turn installed the remaining members of his committee.
Annual reports from each of his officers were well received and approved by all the members (see accompanied photograph and legend). Do you wish to become a member of this august organisation?
