Friday (July 19) sees ‘Harvey’s Murder Mysteries’ back again at Carew Castle with another hilarious and heinous crime.

The year is 1832, and Lord and Lady Addlehead cordially invite you to meet their illustrious guests, enjoying a happy re-union with their old Cambridge Uni., and Royal Academy friends...but in the midst of their joyous celebrations a murder is committed.

The usual line-up of suspects includes regulars - Rhob Pattison, Jayne King and June Howell, with new-comers Rebecca Lewis, Lucinda Birt, and father and daughter combo, Paul and Phoenix Collins.

The evening is held indoors, in (currently), the slightly less than grand, grandiose surroundings of the ‘Lesser Hall’ (Lord Addlehead has the builders in).

Doors and the bar will be open from 7 pm, ready for a 7.30 pm start, when you will hear what the suspects have to say for themselves!

Following a buffet meal, guests will have the opportunity to exercise the little grey cells, as each suspect undergoes interrogation around the tables. There is a prize awarded for the first correct answer to ‘whodunnit’.

Come as you are, or enter into the fun by donning your best 1830s dress (ladies), or suit, gentlemen – or simply add a Sherlock Holmes deer stalker hat and a magnifying glass. There will be an additional prize for the best dressed lady. Reduced price tickets for under 18s. (Not suitable for under 12s)

Booking is essential through Carew Castle on 01646 651782, or visit the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park website.
