Narberth Town Council have heard more concerns regarding speeding in the town.
The issue was originally brought up by Clr. Mike Platt at a Town Council meeting held in January, where he said that he had witnessed four cars ‘hammering up and down’ Northfield Road and they were going faster and faster.
Clr. Platt added that there was previously a speed camera on the road, but it was removed as it was too close to the corner.
At a Town Council meeting held on Tuesday Clr. David Norcross who was speaking on behalf of Clr. Platt said concerns had been raised by Clr. Platt when he was going to the healthcare centre.
Clr. Norcross said that Clr. Platt regularly goes to the healthcare centre and that he nearly gets run over by cars speeding down Redstone Road.
Town Clerk Caroline Coaker said she would find it hard to speed down the road.
The Town Council dismissed the idea of putting double yellow lines to stop people from parking on the road.
