Sir,
A planning application has been submitted to Pembrokeshire County Council for a 77m wind turbine within 400m of the centre of East Williamston (i.e. the church), with objections to be in please by Thursday, August 27, quoting ref. 1510376/PA. Details may be checked online.
At 83 yards to the top of a blade this is huge - much bigger than any of those seen in this area. It will be visible for miles around, with the potential to blight lives not just in East Williamston.
It is euphemistically called a ‘community’ wind turbine, although it will be of no benefit to the community here. Just why would anyone want to put such a monster so close to a village - not their village of course.
Name and
address supplied.
