St. Mary’s Sundayfunday club and CYC club, the church’s youth group in Tenby, along with local and many visitors enjoyed a wonderful and well-organised Easter Saturday Messy Easter event.
Over 70 children and adults alike made and decorated the Easter tree for the church under Helen’s expert supervision, Lucy helped fill Easter baskets, talented Katie and Charley face painted and hair braided, Kerry assisted with bracelets, Diane and Grace helped all to make an Easter card. Lindy did a great job teaching cooking in the kitchen, June helped sew Easter glove puppets, Becky as well. Fiona cooked pizzas. Many other activities were also available. Lizzy helped distribute a Fair-trade Easter egg to everyone and finally Rev. Joel gave a beautiful thought provoking Easter message: ‘The real meaning and miracle of Easter.’
This was the third annual Messy Easter experience in St. Mary’s and many holidaymakers and their children were thrilled to be there again for this year’s workshop.
