A three-and-a-half feet tall meerkat statue has been stolen from the front garden of a property at Bro Waldo, Clunderwen.

The theft occurred sometime overnight on Saturday when the statue was snapped off and its feet left in situ.

Whilst not high value, the meerkat was of sentimental value to the family and also provided pleasure to local children as the family would dress it up throughout the year.

Police are anxious to speak with anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the Bro Waldo area on Saturday evening.
