The wedding took place earlier this year at Trefloyne Manor of Jamie Miles and Hayley-Louise Swift

Jamie the son of Mrs. Adonia Miles and the late Mr. Kenneth Miles of Tenby, and Hayley-Louise, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Swift of Swansea, were married on Saturday, February 22, with the wedding ceremony and reception held at Trefloyne Manor in Penally, just outside of Tenby.

The bride, who works as a Civil Servant within the DVLA in Swansea, wore a vintage white wedding dress, with a traditional lace veil and tiara. The bouquet was an ensemble of yellow spring flowers, with a horse shoe incorporated within its design.

Being of Scottish decent, the groom, who is head of human resources for a learning disability charity in Cardiff, wore his late fathers plaid and full highland-wear kilt, with a blue tweed jacket, finished off with a ceremonial fly plaid.

The bride was piped in tune to the altar by a bagpiper before joining as man and wife.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Sophie Graham as maid of honour, with Sophie’s two daughters Charlotte and Willow as flowergirls.

The best man was Michel Regelous, long standing family member and best friend to the groom.

After the wedding ceremony, Scottish family friend Bill Thompson, engaged in an ancient hand fasting and binding ritual with the newly married couple.

This was adorned by a private reading on the quaint bridge on the spectacular grounds.

The day was breathtaking, finished off perfectly by a wonderful fireworks display, with many local people playing a key role in making the day truly magical.

Honeymoon plans are currently on hold, however the couple hope to fly off to the Amalfi Coast when times are more settled.

The bride and groom who will make their home in Cardiff want to thank everyone for their well wishes and kind generosity in the start of their future together.
