St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, was the setting for the wedding on September 29 of Philip David Lewis and Lois Michelle Howlett-Dyer.

The groom, a builder, is the eldest son of Helen and Keith Lewis, of Summerhill, Stepaside, while the bride, an office worker at Wisemans Bridge Inn, is the daughter of Cheryl and Graham Hughes, of Porta Bella, Pleasant Valley, Stepaside.

The bride, given away by her father, wore a strapless ivory A-line satin wedding gown with chapel train, embroidered with crystal beading and lace-up back.

Bridesmaids were Lauren O'Neill (bride's best friend), Jodie Hughes (bride's sister) and Chloe Lewis (groom's niece). Flower girl was Ffion Griffiths (bride's niece).

Lauren and Jodie wore strapless high-low hem-line dresses in eggplant with ivory sash and trim, Chloe wore a full-length ivory chiffon overlaid satin dress with crystal beading trim and eggplant sash, while Ffion wore an ivory applique butterfly dress with flared mesh skirt and satin top.

Best man was Ricki Morgan (best friend), while ushers were Antony Lewis (groom's brother), Danny Dyer (bride's brother), Tom Lewis and Peter Quinn (groom's good friends). Page boy was Taylor Lewis (groom's cousin).

The wedding ceremony was conducted by Rev. Michael Butler.

A wedding reception was held at Wisemans Bridge Inn.

The couple, who will be honeymooning at a later date, will be making their home in Llanteg.
