Just before 9 pm on Saturday, Dyfed-Powys Police took a number of emergency calls regarding a man causing a disturbance in an around the town centre area of Narberth. The reports suggested that this man may be in possession of a knife. In order to ensure the safety of the public, a number of police units, including armed units, were deployed to the area. A man was subsequently arrested at 9.32 pm at an address in Market Square, Narberth. This arrest took place without incident. No persons were physically harmed during the incident. A 27-year-old local man was bailed pending further enquiries.
