Firefighters from Whitland were involved in diverting flooding away from a property in Login during the early hours of Sunday morning.
A culvert unable to cope with a heavy downpour caused the problem at Lan Afon, Glyntaf, shortly before 2 am.
The crew diverted the water prior to the arrival of sandbags.
