Thank you so much everyone for kindly helping to litter pick and clean up Pembroke Dock.
Where would we be without you? Even though we had a small team, lots was done, including the alley between Clarence Street and Brewery Street, but there’s still lots to do.
“I have been out myself from Thursday until Sunday, finishing off the lane in Brewery Street and all around the Asda roundabout and the whole area by the Travelodge where I collected a total of 11 full bags,” said Mayor, Clr. Peter Kraus. “The disused railway line in Gordon Street was also a blackspot, now tidy at the moment.
“What is the matter with people these days, have they no pride?
“I just hope that it keeps tidy for Easter when hopefully lots of tourists will visit the area. If we want people to visit our town, let us make sure that they like it and want to come back. We have so much to offer with all the maritime history.”
