A fantastic time was had by all at the Jubilee Afternoon Tea Party at the Mount Community Centre, Milford Haven on June 2. The sun shone, and everyone had lots of fun and plenty to eat.

Thanks have been expressed to everyone who made it possible: Kelly, Caroline and Camilla (the entertainment team) who organised all the dances and games and storyteller Jane; Bill, Chris and Natalie who did the balloons and bunting, as well as a lot of setting up and clearing away; Paul who acted as gatekeeper and helped lay out the buffet; and Meg and Lynne who did the catering, clearing and washing up.

The Mount Community Centre are also grateful to Debbie Mills, the Tesco community champion, for her support in supplying all the sandwiches, Milford Haven Town Council for their donation which bought the rest of the food and The Friends of the Mount for sponsoring the face painter.

“Our community really pulled together to make an event to remember. Thank you all.”
