Well done to Saundersfoot resident Jason Harris who took on the ‘Go sober for October’ challenge for the second year running, to raise money for Macmillian Cancer Support.
Jason, a local bricklayer, this year raised a magnificent £1,645.99 for the charity, which is very close to his family’s hearts.
“Sober October encourages people to go booze-free for the month, and it takes a very special ‘Soberhero’ to be able to give up the drink and raise funds for such a worthwhile cause, with every single pound making a difference,” said a spokesperson for Macmillan.
Jason’s wife Sophie, said: “He has a drink or two every evening so this was not an easy challenge for him!
“This is the second year running he has completed the challenge, as the Macmillan charity is very close to his heart.
“He is very pleased with what he’s raised for this amazing charity!
