A few years ago a whim was proposed to introduce some of my family to your island.

Research was carried out and there is insufficient food to sustain one squirrel. So your leaders had the idea scrapped.

There are insufficient pine trees which form our main diet, and a food base to supplement our diet is proposed.

We are wild animals and the food base will only be a fad. As expense increases, cutbacks are made and volunteers decline, so will we.

Suggestions have come from some people who do not live on the island that a whim and avarice have overruled commonsense and our existence.
