It’s Panto Time in Saundersfoot. This year it is the story of Cinderella (Lana Lewis) and her escape from the drudgery of the kitchen to the spectacular ball at the palace.
She is aided and abetted by her friend Buttons (Stacey Etherington), hindered by her Ugly Sisters (Marc Styles and Christopher Tilbury) and looked after by the Fairy Godmother (Jocelyn Aveyard). Her father, Baron Hardup, is played by Andy Griffiths, with Megan Pritchett as the handsome Prince Charming and Rosie Griffin as Dandini.
Directed by Marc Styles, this is a show that will entertain and amuse all ages with the acting and dancing for which Saundersfoot Footlights is so well known. As usual, the singing and the soundtrack is under the direction of Clive Raymond. Add the magic provided by the costumes, scenery and lighting effects and you will have the perfect event to start the Christmas season.
