Today thousands of people all over the world are making International Yoga Day, with the celebrations even stretching to Tenby’s beaches.
Popular sand artist Marc Treanor (sandcircles.co.uk) exercised his amazing ability to draw in the crowds again overlooking the North Beach, by creating a commission for Gwylan UK - a company wishing to introduce yoga into primary schools, with their ‘Yoga4schools’ slogan encouraging the exploration of movement and calmness within the learning environment.
Several pupils from Tenby VC Infants School joined in the fun too, by taking part in a yoga class on the beach and also creating their own pieces of sand art, whilst S4C also had the television cameras rolling with presenter Alun Williams giving a rundown on proceedings.
