Saundersfoot Harbour Commissioners were proud to be able to host the New Year’s Day Swim once again this year, making it the 35th year of the event.
Bradley Davies, Commercial Manager said: “This year we saw over 2,100 people take to the water wearing fancy dress on New Year’s Day morning as they took part in the 35th annual New Year’s Day Swim.
“Everybody here at Saundersfoot Harbour always looks forward to helping the New Year’s Day Swim and with this year’s theme, transformed Saundersfoot into a sea of yellow in celebration of Geraint Thomas winning Le Tour de France.
“The Saundersfoot Harbour Commissioners have donated 100 per cent of the car park takings to the Swim charity as they have done in previous years. So remember, when you bought your car parking ticket to watch the swim, you have helped to make a difference,” he added.
