Jenny Price, who has been at the helm of Narberth Lifesaving Club for 28 years, is handing over to Bryn Etchells and Lauren Bradbury, trainer assessors.
Brenda Scourfield is also retiring and has been an inspiration and volunteer with the club for the last 15 years.
The club runs on a Monday night from 5-6 pm during term-time and has different events lined up over the school break.
The club is presently involved in presenting Have You Got Talent at Narberth Swimming Pool Grounds on June 16. For further information, go to Narberth Lifesaving Club on Facebook.
Said Jenny: "It has been a wonderful time with camps, climbing expeditions, trips to Disney in Paris (twice), working with the army at Martin's Haven, coasteering back in the early '90s, working with Tenby Surf Lifesaving Club in the summer, St. Davids Surf Lifesaving Club, and links with Llanelli Surf Lifesaving Club, teaching many children to save lives and be safe near water.
"Thanks to all who in the past and present have been associated with the club and given their valuable time to make this one of the best lifesaving clubs in the county. A special thanks to the 55+ Club who have donated money to help with expenses on different ventures over the years."
