Members of Begelly Golden Age Club were recently entertained by the Griffon Choir with a wonderful selection of songs under their musical director, Judy Davies, and accompanied on the piano by Dr. John Harrison.

The members were delighted by the programme, which opened with a Zulu song - Siyahamba, followed by The Lord's Prayer, Hallelujah, Super-Trouper, Tydi a Roddaist, Troyte's Chant (Eli Jenkins's Prayer), Suo Gan - a Welsh lullaby, You Raise Me Up, How Great Thou Art, As Long As I Have Music, and finally the Welsh National Anthem.

The meeting ended with tea and biscuits and the raffle. The next meeting will be on September 6.
