Whitland Old Age Pensioners Association is among a host of community based projects across Wales to benefit from the 'Awards for All' funding scheme this week.

A total of 53 projects located across the country share in the £164,858 awarded under the small grant programme which offers Big Lottery Find (BIG) grants of between £500 to £5,000 to grassroots groups in the community.

Whitland Old Age Pensioners Association received a boost of £2,890.
