Ian Gravell and his team from Kia Gravell, of Narberth, have sponsored new 'Walking Bus' high visibility vests for children at Tavernspite CP School.
The scheme supports Tavernspite School's ongoing work based on reducing energy consumption and improving the local environment by walking to school.
The high visibility vests have the 'Grizzly Gravell' logo on the back and have been a wonderful resource for the children to use on their safe journeys to school and during short walks in and around the local area of Tavernspite during curriculum activities throughout the day.
Local community support, provided by Mr. and Mrs. Webb, of Tavernspite Garden Centre, has been well-appreciated, with many parents parking at the garden centre on a Friday, in order to ease congestion immediately outside the school.
Deputy headteacher, Mrs. Sarah Arthur, said: "We are very grateful to Ian Gravell for supporting our school with such a key resource to ensure that our children are safe, whilst making every effort to support our work based on conserving energy and reducing fuel consumption. As a school, we are continually working with parents and pupils to further increase the number of pupils who take part in this scheme."
