The Begelly/Kilgetty Fun Day takes place tomorrow at the RAOB Club where the classic cars, bikes and tractors are meeting from 11 am, before travelling to Kilgetty sports field (don't forget that bacon butties are available in the car park!) The organisers would love the residents to line the streets from the RAOB Club and cheer the beautiful transport of bygone days down to the sports club. The fun day promises to be a very entertaining afternoon with lots of stalls for adults and children. A bouncy castle and other children's rides, face painting, glitter tattoos, candy floss, ice cream, burgers and hot dog stalls, as well as Welsh cakes and a fantastic tea tent. A photographer, the Garden Shed, Purple Roots, free body fat testing pod, caricature painting, tarot cards, golf and football competitions, tombola, beads and book stalls will be available to keep you all entertained during the afternoon. Tickets for the fun day raffle will also be available which offer over 24 prizes from local businesses, proceeds of which will be given to various local charities. Funds will also be raised for other local charities, including Greenacre Dog Rescue, Begelly Church, Harriet Davies Trust, Wales Air Ambulance, Tinkers Hill Birds Of Prey and Swan Rescue Centre, Kilgetty WI, Diabetes UK and Begelly/Kilgetty Environmental Group. Don't forget to register from 1-1.50 pm for the dog show; the dog agility will be starting at 1 pm and the dog show at 2 pm where entrants are reminded that the fancy dress dogs/owners can win a family day out to Oakwood for the best entrant. It is hoped to have a good turn-out for this class; it's an absolutely brilliant prize to win! The disco will be by the very popular Linzi during the evening to which you're all invited to dance and enjoy yourselves until late!
