The award-winning Narberth Food Festival is getting ready to serve up its lively menu of treats for foodies, fun-lovers and all the family.

Festival-goers can look forward once again to a great outdoor music and street food dining experience, coupled with the excitement of browsing, buying, tasting and learning in the adjoining massive marquee, with over 50 stalls.

“In the words of one happy stallholder last year, the festival creates a Mardi Gras atmosphere,” said festival chairman Huw Jones. “We’re looking forward to another brilliant event, with that unique Narberth mix of good food, great talks and demonstrations and entertainment for all, in a relaxing atmosphere.”

Narberth Food Festival has twice scooped Gold for Best Event in the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards.

To sample it all for yourself, go along the Town Moor, Narberth, from 10 am - 6 pm on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 28, from 10 am - 4 pm.

Admission charges are £4 on the Saturday, £3 on the Sunday and just £5 for a weekend ticket. Under-18s are admitted free.

The not-for-profit event is run entirely by volunteers, and sponsored by a number of local businesses and organisations.

Added Huw Jones: “We’ll never be the biggest food festival, but people tell us we’re the friendliest and most enjoyable.”

And in the words of one stallholder: “I love the friendly vibe, and mix of music, talks and stalls. Great!”
