Sir,

It is with huge regret and sadness that, due to the ongoing effects of Rheumatoid Arthritis, together with other associated complications, I have been obliged to take early retirement as manageress of Tenby branch of Boots the Chemist.

Having spent almost 30 years of service with the company, 25 of these at the Tenby store and five at Milford Haven, I would like to thank all my valued staff and many colleagues, past and present, for their wonderful support and diligence over the years. This also includes many friends and loyal customers, without whom the stores could not have existed.

It has been a privilege to have played a small part in serving local communities and it has provided many happy years of interaction with the public for me. The company itself has given me so many opportunities and roles over this time which culminated in being awarded the accolade of ‘Store of the Year’ with my team just a few years ago.

I’ve had the most amazing time with so much love and support from my area managers, fellow managers throughout South Wales and of course, with my fantastic colleagues. Their support has always lifted my spirits and kept me going through some very difficult times. I truly wish Fiona, Tenby’s new manageress, the very best of luck for the future.

Lastly, I have nothing, but admiration for the teams at Tenby surgery, Withybush rheumatology and medical day unit for their truly wonderful, ongoing care and treatments.

I look forward now to a new future supported, as always, by my uniquely amazing family and friends. Thank you one and all.

Angie Morgan,

Lydstep
