St. Teilo’s and St. Bride’s Catholic Parish of Tenby and Saundersfoot said farewell to their parish priest, Fr. Michael Fewell, or as he preferred to be called, their pastor, on the Feast of Christ the King, after serving the parish for four years. He will be looking forward to (semi) retirement, due to ill health. Of course, we will keep in touch with him, and he is hoping to return July 20 next year to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of his priesthood with us.

At St. Teilo’s, pupils from the school presented him with a gift and after Mass parishioners shared a buffet and a cake with him, baked by Laura Tomp.

At St. Bride’s, Fr Michael was presented with, among other items, a framed print of Saundersfoot and photo albums of memories of his time with us.
