Wednesday night saw the final chapter in a long fund-raising event for a popular Templeton couple. Donna and Kevin Longhurst decided to run the London marathon before Donna's cancer deemed it impossible to do so. And they were delighted to cross the finishing line of this year's event hand-in-hand in a time of seven hours 11 minutes and 22 seconds. But what's equally as impressive is that together with family, friends and the local community, they have raised a magnificent £25,000 which has been split between two charities that have helped during Donna's battle with cancer, Macmillan Cancer Support and Sandy Bears.
