Saundersfoot is all fired up for a fang-tastic time as it combines the fun and festivities of Hallowe’en and Bonfire Night into its Big Bang weekend.

This lively event, taking place on Friday, October 28, and Saturday, October 29, features lots to do for all the family.

A funfair on the harbour car park opens at noon on the Friday to get the weekend underway, and there’s a Trick or Treat trail and a children’s disco in the evening.

The trail, organised by Saundersfoot Youth Club, is from 6.30-7.30 pm, with the disco at the Regency Hall from 7.30-9 pm. Tickets to cover both are £3 and available on the door on the night from 6 pm. It’s a very popular event, so early arrival is advised!

There’s also a pumpkin carving competition, and entries should be taken along to Dilys Photography Gallery in High Street from Friday onwards, in time for judging at 5 pm on Saturday.

The free fireworks display takes place at 7.30 pm on Saturday, with Galaxy Fireworks - the company responsible for Saundersfoot’s renowned New Year’s Eve show - in charge of the pyrotechnics.

And there’s free entry for everyone into the Spooky Bat Trail, with entry forms available at the Friday night disco or at the coffee shack on the harbour.

There will be limited parking on the harbour, with more parking nearby in the Regency Hall car park and at Coppet Hall, via the spooky tunnel at the end of The Strand.
