Muddy Paws Doggy Spa is the ultimate retreat for the pampered pets, specially designed to provide a calm, relaxing and safe haven in which pooches can be groomed.

Located at the Old Pump in Pentlepoir (alongside the petrol station/Spar and post office), owner Julie Elston recently opened the business after previously working as a dental nurse in Tenby for 26 years.

“This is something I’ve always wanted to do, as I’ve always been a dog lover and kept horses and cats too,” explained Julie.

As well as providing a professional grooming service to dogs of all breeds, Muddy Paws also offers a relaxing environment for your pet, to ensure they enjoy their appointment.

“We like to create a nice, calming, relaxed environment for pets, so never cater for more than two at a time, guaranteeing that your dog will have our full attention and care,” continued Julie.

Services provided, include:

• dry cutting and nails (for all breeds) at £25

• bath and nails from £10

• nail clipping at £5

• for a full grooming session to include - a hydrotherapy bath, full clip to owner’s requirements, second bath, nails and ears, full deodorising - prices start at £30.

“The hydrotherapy bath is quite a unique experience for your dog, offering massaging qualities. It is also a great way to stimulate hair growth for your pet, as regular coat care will also help your pet’s health, hygiene and make them feel more comfortable.” explained Julie.

Muddy Paws are also suppliers of ‘Burns’ natural dog food, which provides your pet with high quality nutritional recipes, for a healthy diet.

Dog accessories, such as collars, coats and leads, will also be in store soon at Muddy Paws.
