Although it was a very warm evening on Thursday last, members of the 'Old Time Music Hall Players' performed a fantasmagorical concert in Jameston Community Hall to an audience enraptured from beginning to end. There were the old traditional songs, with some audience participation prompted by a master of ceremonies who had all the usual patter, and the show included a comedy role by their 'vicar' who encircled some lady members of the village in his amusing quips. Thanks go to the artistes for an excellently presented show, which ended with a standing ovation and cries for more.
