Family and friends of a Narberth teenager have raised over £10,000 for Welsh children's cancer charity, LATCH.
Brave 16-year-old Shelley Harries sadly passed away in January after a courageous fight against cancer.
During Shelley's illness, her parents, Paul and Beverley, sisters Shannon and Tiegan, together with her family and friends organised a fund-raising evening at the Snooty Fox Inn last summer.
It was to thank the charity for all the support the family were receiving.
And everyone was overwhelmed when the evening raised the magnificent total of £10,227.28.
The event was staged at the Martletwy pub by kind permission of owners Kevin and Debbie Hart, last summer, and included entertainment from Sherri and Steel, a grand raffle and a charity auction.
Kindly donated by local businesses and organisations, prizes up for grabs included a week's luxury stay at a villa in Lanzarote for up to eight people, a family portrait and a rugby shirt signed by the current Scarlets squad.
Prior to the event at the Snooty Fox, a group of girls also completed a 5K run from the Boars Head, Templeton, to the Farmers Arms, Narberth, also to raise funds for the charity.
The fund-raisers would like to thank everyone who donated prizes and attended the event helping make it a financial success for such a worthwhile charity.
