Local councillors have voiced their concerns over a fake Facebook page, purporting to be run by Tenby town council.

At Monday night’s meeting of the town council, Clr. Will Crockford told his colleagues that he had been ‘duped’ by a Facebook group calling itself ‘The Real Tenby Town Council’.

The group has around 60 members and states that it is a ’group for the people of Tenby to discuss all aspects of Tenby life’. In comparison, the official Facebook page for Tenby Town Council has over 700 likes.

The town clerk, Andrew Davies told members that he had already reported the unofficial group twice.
