Animal lovers across Pembrokeshire are being invited to a special coffee morning to find out more about the local RSPCA branch.

RSPCA Pembrokeshire Branch is hosting a coffee morning on June 1, at the Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services, between 11 am and 12 noon.

The event - which is free for guests - is an opportunity to learn more about the branch’s activities, and meet a local RSPCA inspector.

A host of volunteering opportunities are available – including acting as a trustee.

Francesca Grice, RSPCA branch support specialist for South Wales, said: “Pembrokeshire is packed full of animal lovers – and we’re eager to tell them all more about their local RSPCA branch.

“This coffee morning is an ideal chance to meet fellow animal ambassadors, and discuss ways to help animals of all shapes and sizes across Pembrokeshire.

“We’d urge anyone with an interest in animals to head over to Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services on June 1, between 11 am and noon, to meet us.

“RSPCA Pembrokeshire Branch is always on the look-out for volunteers, including trustees - who will set a key role in setting the future direction of the local charity.

“A local RSPCA inspector will also be joining us – to discuss a busy few months in the job in Pembrokeshire.”

RSPCA Pembrokeshire Branch has also launched a Facebook page – offering local animal welfare updates to their supporters.

Attendees are free to turn up on the day, though more information on accessibility requirements is available on 07334 496648.
