During the past two years the Narberth RFC committee worked closely with the Entertainments Committee of Narberth and Whitland Rotary to lay on two fantastic evening fundraising charity events at the Narberth Rugby Ground.

Next year it will bigger and better because two headline acts have been booked. Details are shown on nwrotary.co.uk and tickets can be bought online to guarantee a place at this annual popular event.

The gates will open at 5pm on Saturday, August 12 and the event is licensed until 11pm. Food and a couple of licensed Bars will be available. Tickets can now be bought online and paper tickets will be available from first week in December at Narberth Rugby club clubhouse. Other outlets will be announced in due course. The event will be known as Narberth Outdoor Rock.

Pembrokeshire’s Steve Briers Rock Disco will get the audience in the mood with his well-known set and the first act to follow him will be Bon Giovi, the world’s premier look-alike and sound-alike tribute to New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi.

Formed in December of 1998, with over 24 years’ UK and International touring experience, this act is one of the best tribute acts on the circuit today playing over 100+ shows each year.

Fronted by the UK’s leading Bon Jovi impersonator, The band has not only toured lengthily around the UK, for clients such as Harley Davidson, Sony, Vodafone, Butlins, Chicago Rock Cafes, Yates, Walkabouts, Mecca Chain, British Motorcycle Federation and Jack Daniels, but has also performed in over 29 countries, which includes most of the Middle East, three-week tours of Russia, Romania, Slovenia, Lithuania, Austria, Cyprus, Turkey, Greece, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Spain, France and Ireland to name but a few. The Narberth audience will be in for a treat !

The final and main act of the evening will be Queen tribute band Don’t Stop Queen Now, one of the finest tributes to the music of Queen in the North of England. Their amazing Freddie, Michael Spence, was recently selected from hundreds of applicants to be featured on the ITV1 series Starstruck.

The band delivers the magic of Queen whether you are a lifelong Queen fan or discovering their music for the first time as Don’t Stop Queen Now play all the hits and more. The band is best known for performing in areas such as Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and Yorkshire, so Narberth and Whitland Rotary impresario John Hughes is delighted to have enticed them down to Pembrokeshire.
