From Adele and Rag’n’Bone man through to Karl Jenkins … the Torch Voices Concert at the Torch Theatre has something for every music lover this Monday evening, November 7 at 7.30pm.

The concert of choral music is both a celebration and the culmination of the hard work by each member of the choir online during the pandemic and since returning to singing together in person in 2022. The musical styles will vary greatly from popular music by Adele and Coldplay to musical theatre and some festive pieces thrown in.

Angharad Sanders, Musical Director of Torch Voices is looking forward eagerly to the concert:

“The Torch Voices choir is proud to host this evening which will also include performances from other local community groups such as the Gelliswick Community Choir and the children of the Limelight School for Performing Arts,” explained Angharad.

“Anyone is invited to join the Torch Voices rehearsals on Thursdays at 6pm to 7:30pm weekly during term time. They sing various styles of song, all chosen by choir members with a selection of music ranging from classical to rock pop and musical theatre,” added Angharad.

Torch Voices Concert will perform at the Torch Theatre on Monday 7 November at 7.30pm.
