The day after the biggest storm of the year so far saw 18 players battling it out at the bridge tables in Penally.
There was a very wide variation in the scores.
Top players on January 22 were Dave and Brian on 69.84%, followed by Paul B and Stuart on 67.36% and Jo and John on 57.94%.
Three small slams were made on three different boards by three different pairs. We hesitate to mention the 5D contract that went down by seven, doubled and vulnerable for 2,000 points. Things can only get better!
