Llanddewi Velfrey WI met on Wednesday, May 1, at Pembrokeshire College Bistro, where a delicious three-course lunch was served by the students.

After lunch, the meeting was held in the college bar. The raffle prize was supplied by Nancy Eynon and won by Eve Lee.

After the college jaunt, Pembrokeshire FRAME was the next port of call.

We were made very welcome and had the opportunity of seeing behind the scenes of their organisation. We discovered how successfully FRAME supports local people into work, training and paid employment. They rely solely on donations from the public. We were inspired at the commitment and professionalism of the organisers and recognised FRAME was worth supporting. Anyone can buy from their retail outlet, which is located just off the Merlin's Bridge Roundabout, Haverfordwest. We had a motivating and thoroughly enjoyable day.

Next meeting is Wednesday, June 5, 'Walking with Hawks'.
