As part of this term’s theme of celebrations and festivals around the world, the children of Templeton CP School’s Foundation Phase recently took part in a ‘mock’ wedding at St. John’s Church. The children each had a role to play within the wedding, from the obligatory bride and groom to photographer, photographers assistant and even a ring bearer. The children certainly turned some heads in their finery as they made the short walk from the school, through the village and in to the church.

Following the service, the children returned to school to celebrate with a wedding breakfast fit for royalty and of course to cut the wedding cake!

Mr. Phelps, Mrs. Arthur and all the staff would like to extend their special thanks to Mr. Roberts, Menswear Hire Specialists from Pembroke Dock, who provided some of the suits for the boys, to Father Graham Lloyd who officiated the service and of course to all the parents for wholeheartedly embracing the occasion and being so generous with their donations of food, outfits and help.
