Mr. Matthew Davies, acting headteacher of Ysgol Greenhill School, Tenby, said he was ‘enormously proud’ of students achievements in this year’s A-Levels when the results were announced today.
“We had some some truly excellent performances,” he said.
Overall, 75 per cent of pupils achieved results grades A*-C.
“The endeavours of our students have been rewarded for their continued self belief and committed work ethic,” continued Mr. Davies.
“Staff and pupils have worked tirelessly to achieve their very best.
“It is always difficult to single out individuals for praise, but on this occasion it would be remiss of me not to highlight the outstanding achievements of Amy Taylor, Fred Stace Smith, Imogen Childs and Hollie McDonald who all achieved four A-Levels grades A*-A.
“Imogen will go on to study law at Selwyn College, Cambridge, whilst Hollie will be studying French at Wadham College, Oxford, in September.”
