Year 3 and 4 at Saundersfoot School are celebrating their recent enterprise success.
Friends Of Saundersfoot School (FOSS) kindly donated £1 to every pupil.
The challenge was to create a small business where the children could make a profit and fundraise for FOSS.
Providing opportunities like this underpins more than one of the four purposes of the new curriculum in Wales.
The school’s ambitious, young entrepreneurs worked extremely hard and raised an amazing £1,514.45 for FOSS.
The children had some fantastic ideas and some of the businesses included - car washing, making and selling loom band bracelets, cake sales, rescuing chickens from a battery farm and selling eggs, growing and selling pea shoots, making and selling lemonade, designing and making hair bow stands and raffles.
It was a superb project and Saundersfoot School are extremely proud of every child.
The children are already discussing plans of how to spend the money at school.
To celebrate, both classes (pictured) have just had a fantastic end of year trip to Caldey Island.
