OVER the past few weeks, jam-packed full of activities and fun, the children have been busy getting out and about exploring Saundersfoot in the nicer weather!

In the last few weeks, the children have visited the local library for story time and a good browse of their wonderful selection of children’s books. The children really enjoyed being there and were welcomed in by the friendly staff.

A trip to the Regency Hall’s ‘Makers Market and Craft Fair’, exploring all the wonderful local arts and crafts on offer, also made for an exciting expedition out of nursery. The children loved engaging with the sellers and being able to ask them lots of questions about the items for sale.

Back in the setting, the children have also enjoyed caring for seedlings and watching and waiting for them to grow into beautiful sunflowers. I wonder who’s will grow the tallest?

The Sunflowers were kindly donated by Gerald Rodgers, whom the children met on their trip to the Makers Market and Craft Fair. “Thank you, Gerald, for your kindness, we can’t wait to share pictures with you all when they are grown!” the Playgroup posted on its Facebook page.
