Adults across Pembrokeshire will be signing up for new Welsh beginners’ courses from September onwards, run by Learn Welsh Pembrokeshire and available for £90 or less for the entire year.

The new ‘Mynediad’ or Entry level courses introduce learners to everyday Welsh greetings and phrases, alongside grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The emphasis is on speaking and enjoying the Welsh language right from the start.

Courses are available for a flat fee of £90 or less for the whole year, whether students are studying for two hours a week, or more intensively, for up to nine hours a week.

A range of free, digital resources, including video, audio and interactive exercises, is available online to complement the learning.

Welsh courses are also available at other levels of fluency, whether learners already speak a little Welsh or are fluent or lapsed Welsh speakers who want to brush up their skills.
