Narberth Museum is opening its doors this autumn to readers and authors in its Chapter One bookshop. Starting with a FREE event on Saturday, November 20 from 11 am, a cluster of local authors will be challenged to present to the audience, a two minute pitch on their latest books. The rules will be cruel: two minutes and not a second more, and Daniel Sheen of Chapter One will be wielding the whip, to cut them off if they transgress. Will they do it? Drop by and find out.
Of course, the authors will have ample opportunity to chat with the public at a more leisurely pace when they are not in the spotlight, perhaps over the soup and refreshments being served by the Chapter One café.
On Friday, December 10 at 7.30 pm, author duo Judith Barrow and Thorne Moore will be hosting ‘What a Character’ - a fun-filled session exploring the creation of fully 3D characters, by posing questions you might not think of asking. Join Judith and Thorne as they seek to prove that a great character can be created by a committee! Tickets are £5 and the bar will be open throughout the evening.
