An open afternoon on Tuesday, October 7 will showcase the rich heritage of Whitland Community Primary School, now known as Ysgol Llys Hywel, as part of special 150th anniversary celebrations of the school building.

The school kindly invites parents, grandparents, past pupils, staff, and members of the community to join to celebrate this milestone between 4pm and 7pm, There will be a performance by Whitland Male Voice Choir (6.30pm), old school classics from Côr Llys Hywel, refreshments and raffle.

Can you help recreate the school’s journey through time by lending or donating any school-related artefacts from over the years? The school is looking for old school uniforms, ties; school books or exercise books; photos, reports, certificates and personal memories.
